I'm Josh Schubert, a licensed mental health counselor in Virginia and Texas, and I offer a variety of evaluations. I have several years of experience providing court ordered mental health and substance use evaluations. If you are in the Richmond metro area, I can conduct these evaluations in the community, such as in the home, detention, jail, or residential facility. Or, I can conduct the entire evaluation online through webcams.
As a licensed therapist with specialized training in Juvenile Forensic Evaluations, I can provide Competency to Stand Trial Evaluations in Virginia.
Online evaluations are completed through webcams, and are secure and professional.
Secure: I use Zoom.us which can be downloaded free on your phone or computer, and it is 100% HIPAA compliant, meaning confidential and secure.
Convenient: Evaluations by teletherapy/ online webcams is tailored to your lifestyle, and based on your schedule. Forget the commute and enjoy at the comfort of your home.
Effective: For many adults and youth, completing an evaluation by webcams is just as effective as in person. I have completed numerous evaluations, both in person and online and have found both to be equally effective in most cases. Its effectiveness is evidenced by the growing amount of professional settings now offering webcam based evaluations, such as hospitals and jails.

Some court ordered evaluations can be covered by Court, the State, or County.
Mental Health Evaluations: $250
Evaluations for Emotional-Support-Animals: $250
Competency to Stand Trial Evaluations: $400

Billing is completed through Paypal. The services needs to be paid for first.
Zoom.us is HIPAA compliant software and is an app that can be downloaded for free on your phone, tablet, or computer.
